Hypertherm

Our Guiding Principles

Hypertherm

Hypertherm’s ultimate goal is to be a valued neighbor that cares and improves the community we work in. This is why we promise to commit ourselves to the following four principles:

1. We will enhance our surroundings, in this case our immediate neighborhood, by taking steps to reduce the impact of light, noise, and traffic from where it is today. We are constantly searching for ways to take vehicles off the road, whether through car pooling programs or by working with organizations such as Vital Communities to develop regional transportation solutions. 2. We will step forward to lead the way in conservatison by showing respect for our surrounding natural environment, protecting what is pristine and fragile, and working collaboratively to create open areas for people to visit and enjoy. Just this year, Hypertherm took great care in the building of a new pedestrian bridge. Instead of using traditional wooden posts anchored in cement, Hypertherm used new helical piers, which resulted in very little disturbance to the ground below. 3. We will share our good fortune by continuing to give back to the community, both in time and money. Over the past several years, thousands of Hypertherm supported volunteer hours and millions of dollars have been returned to area nonprofits. We expect our philanthropic giving to only grow in the years to come. 4. We will commit ourselves toward improving the lives of families throughout the region by working with others to address pressing regional issues such as childcare, affordable housing, and workforce development. Hypertherm is already taking a role in each of these areas through its donation of time and money to organizations such as Twin Pines Housing Trust, Cover Home Repair, and our new Hypertherm Technical Training Institute.
